RALESHIA BRUMFIELD

Raleshia Brumfield is a two-time Emmy Award-winning producer, storyteller, and philanthropic leader whose life's work is rooted in one conviction: storytelling is only complete when it changes what happens next.

For more than a decade, Raleshia served at CBS News Chicago, where she advanced the civic good by building community partnerships, producing award-winning initiatives, and turning awareness into action through journalism. Her work helped elevate issues impacting communities across Chicago and Northwest Indiana, including the Emmy Award-winning community broadcast, Call to Action: Justice for Black Women, which convened civic leaders to pursue solutions and advance meaningful dialogue.

That same conviction became deeply personal after the loss of her husband. Today, as Founder of the Brumfield Legacy Foundation, Raleshia is pioneering a restorative model that helps children and families navigate life after losing a parent through stability, artistic healing, and economic opportunity. Guided by the belief that childhood should never become another casualty of loss, the Foundation is reimagining how practical resources, community partnerships, and innovation can restore hope and create lasting legacy for grieving families.

Beyond her philanthropic work, Raleshia is the founder of Diversified Media Group, where she partners with organizations, nonprofits, and purpose-driven leaders to develop transformative storytelling, strategic communications, and community impact initiatives that move audiences from inspiration to action.

A two-time Emmy Award recipient, Raleshia's career has included leadership and collaborations across CBS News Chicago, NBCUniversal, iHeartMedia, Paramount Global, and numerous civic and nonprofit organizations, including the American Red Cross, the Chicago Urban League, and other institutions committed to strengthening communities.

Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional work. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Ruth Page Center for the Arts and is an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, where she contributes to regional communications and serves as Chaplain for the South Suburban Chicago Chapter. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

A Chicago-area native, speaker, producer, and mother of three, Raleshia believes the most meaningful leadership happens where media, philanthropy, faith, and community intersect. Whether producing stories, building organizations, or creating spaces for restoration, her mission remains the same: to leave people, families, and communities stronger than she found them.
