tHeres A Divine Beauty rooted in resilience…

There is a majestic glow that illuminates when we lay down our struggles, our fears, pain and tearful apprehensions; healing, washing away generational curses and past mistakes that once had us bound.

There is a power that is un-earthed when we own our flaws as much as the gifts that unlocks the applause from man. 

There is a regal-ness that exudes from the depths of one’s soul when the acceptance of the reflection in the mirror is authentic, pure, unfiltered, activated by a refusal to give up.

Resilience. Divine Resilience. The ability to overcome.  The ability to triumph because faith and fortitude are our anchors.  

The realization through intentional stillness that our courage and strength, often times, is the bridge that can transform realities.

Resilience. The ability to show up and excel because we choose to.

Resilience. Divine Resilience. The confidence to give life our all because while we are yet here, we owe it to ourselves, ancestors that have gone before us and generations that will follow, to live life fully, the ultimate testimony to greatness.

 Resilience… The power and cornerstone of our rising, illuminating the light from within. 

I want to welcome this new season, celebrating my life anniversary, my birthday, with a love letter to the soul.  Celebrating something that explores fragility on the quest to arising in powerful strength. Resilience.

My wish today, for myself and you, is that we will honor our resilience, brilliance, and unapologetically bask in the fact that we are still here.

UNLEARN

“She Travels Between Worlds Unlearning Thousands Of Years Of Conditioning”

A new year is upon us and as I celebrate that fact that I (we) are still here, I am also holding on to the life lessons or pieces released from the 2020 puzzle. 

Understanding that my greatest piece of wisdom, nurturing peace for my soul in this season, is the grace and permission to unlearn the things that do not serve me well.

 As this year concludes, I’m taking a SOUL inventory. Auditing the areas of my life that may be inflicted with false conditioning turning the cycles of unfulfillment, lack and toxicity.  

 I’m reflecting on questions that unearths any ego and stings deep that I have no choice but to reflect, unlearn and change.  

 Am I stewarding well the one life that I have been given?

Are my operating constructs yielding returns that are aligned with my purpose and creator?

Am I sooo busy and distracted, concerned with the opinions of others, that I am spiritually anemic and up - rooted?

 There’s some unlearning that I must do to answer these questions. Unlearning that we must do together.  I’m a firm believer that my process and unlearning starts with recognition and profession.

Thus, In 2021, I am professing that I WILL:

 UNLEARN the things that I have accepted as truth but in actuality is counterproductive to my spiritual growth, development and happiness.

UNLEARN giving a yes when my no is complete and often times where the power lies.

 UNLEARN overcompensating to dismantle this narrative of exhaustive perfectionism being synonymous with productivity and success. 

 UNLEARN not “counting the cost” but doing just to do with no strategy or purpose. 

 UNLEARN the guilt that is associated with self - love.   Accepting that rest, pursuing what makes me feel beautiful and treating my body as a temple, is the game changing divine fuel that’s often free.

  UNLEARN questioning my value because man can’t see it or instead chooses to become threatened by it.

 UNLEARN sharing vision with those who refuse to open their eyes to see. 

 What will you unlearn? What will be the professions that catapults the pieces and pain we felt from 2020 to new levels of promise?

Let’s unlearn together and bloom into the best versions of our selves.

May I share my heart with you?

Thanksgiving wasn’t always a time that I felt immense gratitude.

If I’m honest, unfortunately, my ego … my flesh would rise … and I found myself often consumed with disappointment. Down, because what I exclaimed with thanks, was in all actuality, unaligned with my INNER TRUTH AND hearts posture.

I reflect on moments where I was indeed financially shaken, emotionally low and wondering how am I “here” during the start of “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”?

Life has taught me, that the greatest gifts are indeed free. Celebrate those gifts. Celebrate those priceless moments. Moments that cannot be itemized, OR valued by currency, portfolios AND platforms.

CHERISH THE “Presents”, that serve as light which is lit with the flames of gratitude. THAT is what I boast about today.

Take a minute to dig deep, reflect and celebrate the things that are truly invaluable and live beyond our definitions of success, POSSESSIONS and frameworks of influence.

Bask in gratitude. We have SOOOO much to be thankful for.

Who were you before the world told you otherwise? Who were you before the scars of life infected areas of confidence and courage? Who were you before ego compromised truth and vulnerability? Who were you when strength, vision and focus were fiercely alive beating to the rhythms of ambition?

Who Are You Now? 

We come into this world naked and totally rooted in our soul.  Then, something happens. Life happens, breaking us down specifically on the journey of self discovery and purpose.

It’s time to pick ourselves up… It’s time to edify. 

To be planted and receptive.  Intentionally elevating by the divine vibrations purposely released for our rise is indeed our quest.

Our ascension is calling.

Our hiding is over.  Our time of refreshing, renewal and enlightenment is here.  A better you is the destination and the soul is crying to successfully navigate the routes of womanism and faith regardless of the boulders of life in between.

Will you accept the call to elevate higher? To put yourself first? 

This is our mission, and this is a space where heart-work will commence.  This is a place where celebrating women is the ultimate mandate.  Spiritual & practical resources will be shared that we may manage the business of life… together.

“Purpose Secured and Impact Loading” … 

A bold statement with the verbal accessories of confidence and purposeful declaration attached. Would you agree?

Yes, it feels GREAT to stand in a place of affirmed strength and self-awareness, but how do we authentically get there?

I had to ask myself this hard question. I had to set aside time for SOUL care and introspection, digging into the depths of my being. I had to realize I was not living in this secured truth… yet. I must do some heart work and it begins with removing the mask. 

I can admit, if you are not careful getting lost on the “hamster wheel of life” and the daily “grind” can become second nature … easily masking truth.

Truth is, sometimes we are simply tired, hurt, disappointed, discouraged. Sometimes we are weighed down by the responsibilities of life that we deny the divine grace that is given to us.

So what happens as a result of this?  We show up appearing “full” but internally wounded and empty.  Poised and ready to turn “on” yet our inner light is off or bleak.  Serving everyone but ourselves with little or no strength to make this very discovery because we continuously choose to pour from an empty cup. 

I know this all to well.  I get it as I wore a mask for years. Perhaps it’s easier to avoid the work needed to take off the layers of life and cry the tears necessary to self cleanse and reflect. 

I’ve learned however, the transformative “game changing” work is peeling off the concealers of fear, hurt, frustration and discouragement to activate faith.  Putting in the hard & heart work for a better you.

I invite you to enjoy and reflect on these 5 “Heart Work activations” purposed to remove whatever your mask is and usher you into a place of truth, center and grace.

I AM…

A Woman of Faith –  Impact Leader – Family Lover - Soul Care Nurturer.

I have failed and I have soared… Rejoiced and I have cried.. Triumphed just to then discover that the inner me was once deeply lost and defeated.

Today however, I celebrate. 

I celebrate my evolution and the inner fortitude that allowed me to get up from the paralysis of fear, doubt and self-sabotage.

 I got up and I remembered who I was and better yet who I am. 

I got up and I remembered who I belonged to & the gifts that I am purposed to share with the world.  

I got up and I dusted off the opinions of man and stepped into “the light” that no hate could ever dim.

I got up and I moved into a space of purpose and freedom… For I now know his grace will continue to meet me where my mistakes may try to break me.

I got up because the MARATHON towards destiny must continue. There is soooo much work to be done. I’m built for this and so are you. It’s Our Time!

I’m soo excited to begin sharing more of my journey with intentionality and meaning which is why I am thrilled to announce the launch of my blog: “Edified.”
